The who, what, and why of The Crafted Hive…
Welcome to our blog! Ahh I am so excited to be writing this to all of you right now! I am even more excited knowing that YOU are reading this. We are Candese and Kelly, the owners of The Crafted Hive. We have been wanting to start our very own blog for about two years now. For our first blog post we wanted to let you know more about us and what you can expect to see here at The Crafted Hive.
Let Us Introduce Ourselves…
We are both born and raised from Pennsylvania. About an hour and a half west of New York City in a quaint and cute town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Kelly and I met while working in healthcare. We became instant BFFs and shared our love for crafting and home decor. We both specialized in the field of Radiology (CAT scan more specifically). We came together to create our Esty shop - Simply Radiating Decor in 2019. Did you catch the play on words there? Radiology - Radiating lol! We Opened our Etsy shop selling hand crafted home decor items. As our shop began to grow the variety of items we sold began to grow as well and so did we! Which is how we ended up here on this blog, writing this post and being so excited for all of you to read it!
What This Blog is All About…
For our first blog post we wanted to give you an idea of what you will expect to see here! This space will be a little bit of everything from decorating tips/inspiration, DIYS, shopping deals, all things lifestyle including home and organizational post, our favorite products and reviews. Think of us as a one stop shop! Our goal is for all of you to find daily inspiration, useful advice and even a new favorite product! We will always keep our content real and to the point. We think of talking to all of you like we are talking amongst friends and we can’t thank you enough for being here.
Why We Started a Blog …
There are so many reasons why blogging was what we were meant to do! We always knew that one day we wanted to start our blog and be able to share all of our ideas. Connecting with new people through blogging brings us more happiness and excitement than you know. This blog also allows us to pursue our hobby and passion of home decor, DIYS, shopping deals and all things lifestyle. We could go on and on about how excited we are but I think you all get the point!
